NewAgeSys Completes Prestigious Project for Pharmaceutical Conglomerate

Princeton, NJ, May 12, 2003 – NewAgeSys, Inc. (formerly NewAge Systems), a leading provider of IT solutions to Pharmaceutical industry has successfully completed a prestigious validation project for a Pharmaceutical conglomerate based in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Pharmaceutical companies are aggressively leveraging technology to bring drugs faster to the markets. The FDA requires that the computer systems used by the industry must be properly developed, tested, used and maintained according to their rigorous quality standards. This requires Computer Systems Validation (CSV) complying with FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 11).

Consistent to their policy of maintaining a leadership position in the industry, the Client decided to go for validation of their computer systems. The primary application is an ERP package. Since it was Client’s first validation project, a rigorous selection process to choose the vendor was initiated.
